Direct sowing can be done . No transplant complications. Make a small groove with your finger, put the arugula seeds and cover them to a depth of approximately 1-2 cm. Do not bury them too much . Protected planting and peeling can be done if desired. If you really feel like it and you are in a harsh winter, you can also plant it in a pot indoors so you have no excuse not to have arugula at home.
The growing cycle is very fast. In just over a month you will have arugula leaves to collect. Ideal for impatient ;-). Don’t plant too many at once or you’ll have to eat arugula to your fill in one sitting. Make staggered plantings.
